Wagners Cottages are located in Swansea. Swansea is the perfect place to base yourself if exploring Freycinet National Park. Swansea is located about 45 mins drive from the Park, but the prices are far more reasonable and if Hobart is your next destination, you are already 45 mins drive closer. If you are looking for some where to stay in Swansea read on.
I initially found Wagners Cottages on booking.com. It turns out there are 4 cottages on the site and each are self contained. Each of the cottages are a little different, one a studio, one a 2 bedrooms and the others single bedroom.
The cottages are said to date back to the 1860s. Wagners Cottage is a stone cottage that is cute and cosy with an open log fire. Nothing has been missed in this cottage with soft bath robes, slippers and plush towels provided. The cabin also has a spa bath with a TV!
To make our stay even more memorable, we were provided with scones, jam and cream (my absolute favourite!!) not long after our arrival. The owners have free bikes available if you wish to do a little exploring of the area.
If you are in the area, you should definitely consider staying at Wagners Cottages.
